南非学校名单
一、Brief Introduction(基本情况)
Higher education in South Africa is referring to Universities, Technikons
and Education colleges. There are 21 universities (University of South
Africa & University of Western Cape are for distance learning),
14 technikons (Technikon SA is for distance learning), and 109 education
college (including teacher training college, agriculture and nursing
school).
南非高等教育机构包括大学（University）、理工学院（Technikon）和教育学院。南非有21所大学（其中南非大学和维斯特大学以远距离教育为主）、14所理工学院（其中南非理工学院以远距离教育为主）、109所教育学院（主要包括教师培训学院、农业和护理学校）。大学和理工学院均为南非国家教育主管部门认可的国立高等院校，可以颁发学士学位及以上的文凭证书。
The South African Qualification Authority（SAQA）takes responsibility
for the accreditation of oversea diplomas and education qualifications
with national criterions. The diploma and credits of foreign students
which are got in their own countries should be accredited and evaluated
by SAQA, and universities in South Africa will refer to the results
for matriculation.
南非质量认证机构（The South African Qualification Authority,
SAQA）负责用南非的国家标准对来自海外的教育文凭和教育资格进行认证。外国学生的国内文凭和学分必须经SAQA的认证和评估，大学以SAQA的认证和评估结果作为录取依据。
There were no preparatory courses in South Africa. Foreign students
who come from non-English speaking countries should take English training
courses before they enter the universities.
南非大学没有预科课程，对来自非英语国家的学生,学校一般在入学前进行语言培训。
According to the government’s regulation, foreign students could apply
to study in South Africa after graduate from high school and no English
marks limitation. However for those who go to South Africa only for
English study, their student visa should not be prolonged; further
more, they should not transfer to the universities and Technikons
to study either.
南非政府规定，高中毕业可以申请去南非留学，大多数学校不要求语言成绩。但以学习英文为由赴南非的留学生，其学习签证一般不能延长，也不能转到南非的大学和理工大学去学习。
According to the law of South Africa, foreign students are not allowed
to work.
根据南非的法律，不允许外国学生打工。
